Things that I love

Animal costumes
Dressing up as animals amuses and amazes me. When I was little, my uncle apparently asked me and my cousins what we wanted to be when we were older. Sophie and Lucy obediently answered 'nurse' and 'doctor'... I said camel.
(currently, I own this^ -I will do a blog post about it one day...- as well as a wolf hood and a panda hat)

Old cameras
After I got my holga, I have been obsessed. At the moment, I would kill for a Polaroid camera and some film... *sigh*

Carrying lots of shopping bags, even if they aren't mine...
I think this just makes me feel like I've bought loads? I love the feeling of kicking your shoes off after walking round shops with a load of bags, and falling on a bed like your in a Premier Inn ad.

Going out for a coffee - well, the idea of it...
I don't actually like coffee, but I would feel so cool popping into Starbucks and ordering a 'Latte to take out please.'

Lyrics to folk-y songs

"do it for the living and do it for the dead,
do it for the monsters under your bed.
do it for the teenagers and do it for your mom,
broken hearts hurt but they make us strong."
-loose lips, Kimya Dawson

first day of summer

Aahh, summer evenings are lovely when it's actually sunny... these are some photos of the wonderfulness to celebrate the start of summer, my grandmas birthday and the last of my exams! (until next school year...)

Is it a bird? is it a plane?...

...No, it's a mug.
But it looks like a camera lens! How genius!
This little camouflaged mug even has a lens cap...

...And they are both amazingly detailed, and have stainless steel linings.

It comes in two varieties: 'Nikon' (which actually extends!) and 'Canon'... what very suitable names...
As a camera geek myself, I would love one (my birthday is in April, by the way) but seriously, even if you have never seen a camera in your life, how could you resist it?!
You can buy it at Photojojo by clicking here.
